Do the Creative Cutters come with a warranty?
All Creative Cutters are covered by a one-year factory warranty against manufacturing defects. Pazzles™ will repair or replace your Creative Cutter during this time at our cost.
What is the size and weight of the Creative Cutters?
Creative Cutter Pro weighs 32 lbs. and is 26”wide x 10” high x 10” deep
Creative Cutter Mighty weighs 34 lbs and is 22” wide x 10” high x 10” deep
Creative Cutter Mini weighs 6.5 lbs and is 15” wide x 5” high x 5” deep.
What size papers can the Creative Cutters cut?
Creative Cutter Pro: Cuts 15” x 15” or roll stock vinyl
Creative Cutter Mighty: Cuts 12” x 15” or roll stock vinyl
Creative Cutter Mini: Cuts 8.5” x 12” or roll stock vinyl
How large can I cut my titles, letters and designs?
Creative Cutter Pro: 12”x12” page overlays, ¼” x ¼” to 12”x12” letters or 1/8” images.
Creative Cutter Mighty: same as above
Creative Cutter Mini: ½” x ½” to 7.5” high by 12” long.
What kinds of paper can the Creative Cutters cut?
Creative Cutter Pro:
Cuts vellum, vinyl, paper up to 110 lb cover, cardstocks such as Bazzill, Color Mates, Double Mates and Treasures, chipboard, stencil plastic, thin magnet material, fabric, fun foam, thin cork, thin wood veneers, Art Emboss foil sheets, textured papers, suede paper, flocked paper and poster board, freezer paper. IT ALSO Embosses on vellum, Draws with a Pen Tool included with your cutter at no charge, Engraves on metal, foil, glass, plastic and wood and Pierces paper, vellum, and Art Emboss foil.
Creative Cutter Mighty:
Cuts vellum, paper up to 110 lb. cover, cardstocks such as Bazzil, Worldwin Double Mates, Color Mates and Treasures, stencil plastic, ArtEmboss Foils, thin magnet material, stiffened fabric, vinyl, thin wood veneers, FUN FOAM, freezer paper, transparency plastic. You can draw and emboss on soft materials like vellum and art emboss foils using the Pen Tool which is supplied with your Creative Cutter. It will also pierce materials using the Piercing Tool. It will not cut chipboard or cork.
Creative Cutter Mini:
Cuts vellum, vinyl, paper up to 110 lb. cover, cardstocks such as Bazzil, Color mates, Double Mates and Treasures, Prism and Cre-8-A Page, pre-stiffened fabric from Cotton Crops or Michael Miller, 100% cotton fabric stiffened with Heat & Bond Lite, transparency plastic, Report cover plastic, Freezer paper, magnet sheets by Wube, Art Emboss Foils. Sticky Backed Chenille paper, Bling, Funky Film, Duralar, and Laser Film by Grafix. Craft Grass by Wintech. You can draw and emboss on soft materials like vellum and art emboss foils using the Pen Tool which is supplied with your Creative Cutter. It will also pierce materials using the Piercing Tool.
Are there different cutting speeds? Yes
Pro has 5 speeds up to 500 grams of pressure
Mighty has 7 speeds up to 400 grams of pressure
Mini has 5 speeds up to 80, 90, 100 grams of pressure
Does It Need A Computer to Run? Yes
You will need the following to run any of the Creative Cutters:a PC or Laptop running Windows XP or higher a minimum of two USB ports is required for the Mini & the Mighty
How Does It Cut Images?
The Creative Cutter has a tiny blade that moves over the paper, cutting the design of your choice. You will install our software, connect the Creative Cutter to your PC or Laptop and begin creating using the QuickStart Tutorial CDs. You can be up and cutting images in no time.
Can I create designs in your software and cut them out?
Yes, you can create your own designs using the hand vectorizing method or you can scan in drawings, photos or import images like .bmp files and automatically vectorize them and then cut them out. Our Quick Start Tutorials teach you how to create your own custom graphics.
Can I create titles and letters and cut those out?
Yes, Our software recognizes all True Type fonts already loaded on your computer. You can create titles using these fonts, you can connect those letters to create joined titles, you can cut individual letters if you choose. With the Pro you can cut the popular large chipboard letters in any font you have. Can I print and cut?In addition to being able to print and cut you are able to cut and print. Can I purchase images? Yes, you can purchase our stock images on CD, we have 7 sets containing over 5700 images that are ready to size and cut on your Creative Cutter. You will receive CDSET1 and CDSET6 with your Creative Cutter. You can download individual images from our website. Images cost between $1.00 to $3.00 depending on the complexity of the design.
